Abstract:
This dataset includes locations, pressure readings, and baro-corrected water surface elevations from three submersible pressure transducers deployed in the channel and floodplain of Snow River during the 2019 glacial lake outburst flood.
Purpose:
Data from the pressure transducers was used to determine water surface elevations during a glacial outburst flood in August, 2019 and to verify a hydrodynamic model of the outburst flood.

The accuracy of depths/water surface elevations was not tested in the field as the sensors were deployed out of water and were not accessible during the flood when they were submerged. However, data were compared to each other and with a nearby stream gage and appear consistent. The manufacturer states that instruments are accurate to 0.01 feet.
