The catalog is a comprehensive summary of information on the locations, sizes, and species compositions of seabird colonies along the Alaska coast. Each of thirty species is covered individually with a map of known breeding locations Alaska-wide and a brief discussion of natural history features and population data. The balance of the catalog presents seabird colony data using dot symbols of graduated sizes on a set of 153 USGS Topographical Series Maps encompassing the Alaska coast. Each map is paired with a table that presents the population of each seabird species reported from colony locations indicated on the map.
