Sediment Transport Data from the Totatlanika River, Alaska, August 2021

Data Download Links Below | AK Science Portal | Project Site | Date Range: 8/2/2021 - 8/5/2021

This data package provides four datasets acquired for the purpose of quantifying parameters affecting sediment trasport along the Totatlanika River, which drains the minerally endowed and tectonically active northern Alaska Range. The datasets provide measures of: (1) channel geometry, (2) boulders, (3) sediment grains size, and (4) water flow. The data can be used to understand sediment transport and landscape processes in this system.

Data sets included:

Boulder Size Data Collected Along the Totatlanika River, Alaska, August 2021 Metadata Data (1MB)
Channel Geometry Data Collected Along the Totatlanika River, Alaska, August 2021 Metadata Data (8MB)
Water Discharge Data Collected and Modeled Along the Totatlanika River, Alaska, August 2021 Metadata Data (4.4MB)
Grain Size Data Collected Along the Totatlanika River, Alaska, August 2021 Metadata Data (49KB)
Grain Size Photo Data Collected Along the Totatlanika River, Alaska, August 2021 Metadata Data (53GB)
