Changing Tides: Ecology of Katmai National Park Brown Bears

Assessment of the ecology of brown bears on the coast of Katmai National Park.

Abstract

This project will identify relationships between marine intertidal health, visitor use, and brown bear physiology. This project will quantify ecological traits of the Katmai National Park coast, determine brown bear use of forage resources and develop outreach materials that will connect visitors and the broader public to the research results from this project.
