Release details: This is the first USGS Alaska Science Center (ASC) release of these tracking data. It includes all satellite tracking data from Spectacled Eiders collected by the ASC, as of July 2020. The ASC is the authoritative source and distributor of these data. Some of the processed data from PTTs deployed 1993-1996 have been previously released on MoveBank and remain publicly available at https://doi.org/10.5441/001/1.kq7t609j Those data are included in this package, in two tables: (1) spectacledEider_USGS_ASC_argos_diag_filteredLocations.csv (2) spectacledEider_USGS_ASC_argos_decodedSensor.csv. The tables include an attribute that denotes whether the data in the record have been previously released.
