Methodology_Description:
One external archival logger was mounted to the side of each of the 5 GPS-equipped satellite collars (Telonics Inc., Mesa, Arizona, USA or Lotek Wireless Inc., Newmarket, Ontario, Canada). Archival loggers (TDR10-X-322B, Wildlife Computers Inc., Redmond, WA, USA) recorded tri-axial acceleration (range ±20 m/s^2) (Surge (x), Heave (y), and Sway (z)) and time-of-day at 8 Hz and conductivity at 1 Hz. Each accelerometer was mounted to a GPS-equipped satellite collar for the duration of the deployment. Location data from the satellite collars is presented in the other table included in this data package.

Attribute_Definition:
Measure of a change in saltwater conductivity at 1 Hz. Missing values indicate no reading was recorded. This is an index established by the manufacturer, Wildlife Computers, Inc: "The wet/dry sensor measures the conductivity between the wet/dry sensor washers. These readings vary between about 20 (maximum conductivity measurable by the sensor, the value of high-salinity seawater) to 255 (sensor is unable to measure any conductivity, the value of a completely dry tag in air). The value the Wet/Dry sensor reads when fully immersed in seawater is variable, affected by the salinity of the water, the size of and distance between the washers, and any fouling (e.g., algae) over the washers."
