Education and/or Training

University of AlaskaTaken graduate courses through the years
1970University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign)Civil Engineering (Water Resources)

Areas of Specialization and/or Research Interests

Throughout my career I have spent most of my time working is surface water quantity, surface water quality, and geomorphology. My main interests are surface water and water quality statistics, geomorphology, and flow/sediment transport modeling. Currently, I’m working on the Yukon River water quality study and a river dynamics/geomorphology study of the lower Copper River.

Professional Experience

1981 - PresentU.S. Geological Survey in Anchorage, Alaska
1970 - 1981U.S. Geological Survey in Urbana, Illinois
