Areas of Specialization and/or Research Interests

Limnology and hydrology. Studies of streams, rivers, lakes, and wetlands in complex watersheds of arctic and alpine landscapes. Interest in the relationship of hydrologic surface storage to climate and geology and the role hydrologic storage in ecosystem functioning.
