Specifications for Alaska Orthoimagery - May 2006

The following specifications are currently recommended by the AGDC DOQQ/DEM subcommittee to be used when acquiring imagery that could be used for the production of DOQQs or DEMs. These may change as data availability, needs, or technology changes.

Statewide Imagery

1 meter resolution
(the subcommittee will identify areas where 2.5 meters will be acceptable)
5-year cycle
Other specifications as identified in IFTN brochure.

Urban and Developed Areas of the State

6 inch - 1 foot resolution
(the subcommittee will identify developed areas by projects and needs)
Other specifications as identified in IFTN brochure.

The above specifications resulted from adjustments made to conform to Imagery for the Nation specifications.

10 meter circular accuracy
10 meter vertical accuracy
