The MacBride Museum is a beautiful log building with a sod roof. The exhibits illustrate life in early Whitehorse and include several historic buildings and transportation artifacts. The Yukon Beringia Interpretive Centre, located on the Alaska Hwy., takes you back in time to an ancient place called Beringia: a land of ice, giant mammals, and the First People of North America. For more information see www.beringia.com. The Yukon Arts Centre and Gallery is Yukon's premier arts and entertainment facility featuring local, national, and international theatre concerts. The Centre also showcases the work of professional Yukon artists and visiting shows. For more information, see www.yukonartscentre.com.

Whitehorse is surrounded by mountains which are part of the St. Elias Mountain Range. The scenery around the Yukon is some of the best in the world. Emerald Lake, the most photographed lake in the Yukon.
