Travel by Air
Some of the airlines that fly to and from Fairbanks are Alaska Airlines, Delta Airlines, Northwest Airlines, Condor, and Japan Airlines. Alaska Airlines will offer attendees a 5% discount August 1-9, 2009, on all Alaska Airline and Horizon Air city destinations. To get the discount, attendees will need to call (800) 445-4435 and mention "GeoNorth".

For Internet reservations using alaskaair.com, input the Discount Code, ECCMB1017, into the Discount Code box when filling out the Flights Quick Search box. The discount will be applied to any flights that meet the criteria of the prearranged meeting code. After inputting the Discount Code, clicking on the question mark will pull up a screen giving general advisories regarding the use of the Discount code. You can also bring up a detailed description of what is allowed on this particular meeting code. There is no ticketing fee when booking on AlaskaAir.com, however, a $15.00 ticketing fee will apply for bookings made by calling into the Group Desk.

Fairbanks has most of the major car rental agencies. You can visit the home page of the rental agency of your choice.

Travel by Railroad
The Alaska Railroad is making a special rate available to all GeoNorth 2009 conference participants. Call (800) 544-0552 to begin planning your Alaskan Adventure. In Anchorage, call 265-2494. When making reservations, use the discount code GEON at the time of booking to get a 20% discount. Convention discounts are not available online. Offer expires August 31, 2009. Offer is on Adult fares only and not valid for upgrades to Goldstar Cars.
