The symposium will be held at the Scott Polar Research Institute (SPRI) in Cambridge. The coordinates of SPRI are 52.1983 N, 0.1262 E. Cambridge has good transport links by road, rail and air. The nearest international airport is London Stansted (approx 25 miles or 40 km); other reasonably local airports are London City (50 miles, 80 km), London Heathrow and Norwich (both about 60 miles, 100 km), and London Gatwick (75 miles, 120 km). The railway service between Cambridge and London is frequent and convenient.
Parking a car in Cambridge is difficult and expensive, and there is very limited parking at SPRI.
