These unit designations are provided for informational purposes only, to aid in the interpretation of these data. In some cases, sample units are inconsistent with map unit at their location. In these instances, the unit designation is based on a combination of the field interpretations made by individual researchers during new mapping and collection of these samples, and the availability of new UPb ages (Todd et al., 2019; Jones and O'Sullivan, 2020; Todd and Kylander-Clark, 2022; Holm-Denoma et al., 2022, in prep). Units listed here are the Map unit labels from Wilson et al. (2015), with some exceptions. First, we do not make a distinction between KJgu and Kmgr, presuming all samples within either are mid-Cretaceous, and are all labeled here as Kmgr. Second, new unit codes are added here, one each for Permain and early Tertiary plutons (Pmg, Tp, respectively). Neither Permian nor a locally appropriate Tertiary plutonic units are described in the referenced map, and the only local early Tertiary unit is volcanic (Tv). And third, several plutonic igneous samples included here are located with unit TKpr, a mapped late-Cretaceous pyroclastic unit in Wilson et al. (2015), so we apply the less-common TKgi (intrusive) unit label to these.
